Don't lie to yourself, or anyone else for that matter! Eyasi was the jewel in the crown. It is the only block on the TRUE RIFT and in tandem with the Lokichar Basin. In fact Eyasi had 4 basins each bigger than the Lokichar Basin. 12B and the other blocks are only offshoots of the rift. And stating that no value was assigned to Eyasi is basically crap. In Argonauts December research, Eyasi was assigned 26 percent of Swala's asset valuation. Even going through various brokers reports, you can sense that they rated Eyasi as the best asset as they billed its ''imminent'' awarding.
By stating they were in 'exclusive negotiations' was meant to evoke a certain assurance. Its impending award was a huge deal and losing Eyasi is a big deal. Make no mistake about it. And pretending otherwise is not going to alter that!
