Personally I am reassured that the management have finally drawn the line and taken a firm stand - long overdue in my opinion. Arbitration looks to have been inevitable - what is gutsy is the amount of disclosure of what must have been extremely tedious negotiation.
I wonder how much attention do the Algerians pay to outside opinion. If it matters to them at all, Terramin must get at least their money back even if the project does not go ahead with their involvement.
Who the hell would do business in Algeria? Take the money and run, guys! $40 to $45m would clear debt and there look to be some possibly interesting projects in the wings if the teasers about the exploration work mean anything.
Will Moriarty make another offer for Tala Hamza now? - I must check in the Advertiser to see.
