What an absolute shocker.
- BFS still not complete and being optimized for the umpteenth time. When it will be complete, no one knows. I don't think I have ever seen a BFS take so long. My only guess is that the CAPEX and OPEX are no longer financially viable.
- Directly contradicts MM's statement to the media that the BFS on G was complete. This absolutely proves it.
- JV discussions are just a red herring; NKP have been in discussions for years with some parties with no outcome imminent for the forseeable future.
- No mention of settlement with Myleti.
- No gurantee that options will be extended.
- No mention of Xstrata; that JV deal is long since dead and buried.
All in all, an announcement that announced.....well.....pretty much nothing.
Folks, just keep watching the SP. That is the truest indicator of what is happening. And as I have been saying for a long, long time, nothing is happening.
