WMT would need to go above 45c by the conversion date to justify paying 10c for WMTO now. Maybe you think it will, but WMT holders don't think so atm. They wouldn't have sold it down to 23.5c if they did. I'd be buying every WMT share I could get my hands on at that price if I thought I could double my money in less than two years. IOW, there's a gulf between WMT and WMTO holders as to where they believe WMT is heading.
Today so far is more like it. WMT down 2 and WMTO down 2, but the massive WMTO premium remains.
