You obviously mis-read my post but just to clarify my posistion in Fiat money, the concept of printing money to cover debt is floored and unsubstianable. A buck is only a buck as long as you beleive that my $20 is worth $20 and visa-versa but once that beleif changes and investors start to think that maybe your $20 might not be worth $20 you have a problem and paper money become just that "paper" and a flight to gold is the only course of action to counter this, it's just one big tug of war so to speak.
You don't honestly think Japan has high inflation now do, quite the contrary. China is buying gold because their nation has emassed some one billion dollars in savings and the government realizes gold is back in town same as everyone else.
The war is just an escuse, hardly. War is an inflationary tool, so it will serve 2 purposes increase inflation and get rid of a scumbag.
