1. Despite getting the first set of WTC bombems, the rest of Clinton's plans failed miserably
2. The plans for the destruction of the WTC using airplanes were planned and initially implemented while Clinton and Clarke were in office. The actual action took place after Bush was in office.
3. Clarke is claiming credit for catching the LAX bomber when the credit is due one and only one customs worker. The has no credibility.
4. Despite Clinton "making A.Q. a top priority" the US did not have one HUMINT source in A.Q.
5. Despite the "top priority assigned to A.Q." during Clinton's 8 years in office, the US did not and still does not have adequate personnel with Arabic language skills needed to even review gathered intell (especially NSC type data) on a timely basis. Nothing has changed in this area in over 30 years and is probably one of the worst indictments of the failure in US intell.
6. Clarke claims that the timing and release has nothing to do with the election. B*** S****. It took him almost 2 1/2 years to tell the world that on September 12th he knew better than all the other intelligence agencies that Iraq had nothing to do with the WTC.....
