    IMO by blaming the Ukraine (rightly or wrongly) Russia
    will gain more domestic support for the war just as
    UK domestic support for UK military intervention in
    Northern Ireland increased post IRA bombings on
    mainland UK and in particular the bombing of the
    Conservative Party's annual meeting in Brighton 1984
