IMO you have hit the nail on the head Senator. Management may not have much time for the sp right now but the uncertainties created by lack of expected ann may be behind the weakness in the sp.
It is important to provide info when you create an expectation around it. If you do not, the grapevine will fill in the blanks and that may not be pretty for the sp.
