Terumo has announced that it will construct an additional production facility for pre-filled syringes at its subsidiary Yamaguchi D & D Corporation headquarters. The expansion will increase production capacity by approximately two-fold. Capital investment for the project will total approximately AU$85 million. Construction begins next month and the facility is expected to commence operation in April 2021.
