I am not sure what was going on back in that 17-18 spike, but it was a doozie looking at charts.
Today is a completely different proposition in my view.
Most times on markets it all pretty functional, however these last few days following the entitlement indicate to me that we have a seller/s who appear to have little interested in maximising an exit. Near 10m shares have traded over the last few days, a massive number compared to the running avg. I look more at the method, yesterday is an example, to put 2M on the offer running line means you want out whatever. Is this an opportunity? time will tell.
I look at the register and cannot help but see that we have old remnants from the split with BPL.
