To some extent all Cobalt is tainted by stories of African mining, the glossy magazines tell us regularly who the billionaires are that are lifting the downtrodden this week, no shortage of an audience for all that stuff, understand your frustration being close to it.

COB are attempting to supply high quality specialised cobalt sulphate from Australia, no easy gig as we see when we look for a pure cobalt in Australia. The important and immediate work is all ahead of us with the Broken Hill pilot plant, what may look like a tiny amount of cobalt sulphate say 200kg from 90 odd tonnes of ore, is anything but that, its proof of concept and if all goes well as I expect it to, it will be followed by 1500kg of cobalt sulphate form 2000 tonnes of ore that will follow. With this acheived the landscape changes for COB, I could almost fall into a romantic prose "build it and they will come"

Time will tell of-course, however it is surely why I will join in the SPP, that in itself is a pure oddity of place and time, who could have seen a BPL or even a Covid for that matter.

As an investor my eye is on that first 200kg, how well we produce it and what purity we achieve, I do know we have good minds working on this. I have few fears regarding the uptake of high quality battery ready cobalt, not that its all about batteries, cobalt is the great enabler :-
