    I am not sure where this graph comes from. Nor is there is any context re the assumptions in its creation.

    Doing a bit of research (10 mins on my part) on global vehicle production reveals that in 2019 total production was about 94M and is only expected to be in the high 80s or low 90s for 2020 due to covid.

    This graph indicates exponential growth for Tesla from a base of 500,000 units at the moment. Even with current factories under construction i cant see this happening for Tesla. This is particulaly unlikely given the R&D being done by existing vehicle manufactures, who are expected to start or ramp up production over the next few years. The battle for supremacy in the EV space hasn't really begun yet and Musk as the first mover in this space may find that he becomes a niche player or a takeover target.

    Might I suggest that that graph is just a bit of fluff put out by some consultancy or research group to pump the Tesla share price.

    BTW - the data re unit production by vechile type and country is easily obtainable from the google machine.
