The problem with that video/scenario is:
    • They bought the cheapest EV out there, which probably has a dated vehicle battery system, how old is this EV?
    • They hadnt even researched the vehicle before driving it. How you could use an EV for a lengthy trip and not know that weather impacts on driving range is just ignorant. You are investing a large amount of money on a car or house, would you not research what your buying first???
    • Most EVs will be for daily commutes < 100kms. Longer haul vehicles are currently in development and can remain on fossil fuels un-harmed by the slow increase in EVs.
    • In most scenarios, people going over 100kms would be on holiday and therefore have the time to get out of the car while it charges for 40mins, have a look around at their pitstop (might be a small country town), have a meal, do some stretches.
    • I found it hillarious, he was extremely hungry and rather than stop and charge on the way up, they choose to stay in the car and get some muffins out of the glove box LMFAO. Stop, put the car on charge grab a feed and away you go.....
