As an aside, Tesla and similar OEMs are well known for negotiating a significant discount on pricing agreements with suppliers as they are well aware that any sniff of their name involved in deals attracts short term appreciation in share price. That is not necessarily in the interest of the long term shareholders as it can significantly impact profit margins once operating and therefore limit the longer term company valuations.
