    You are obviously not aware of the reason why fuel taxes were originally introduced. The fact that it is channeled through consolidated revenue is only a technically. It is a TAX ON FUEL. What is a definite fact is that the EC vehicles pay no "fuel" tax and are heavily subsidised.

    Nothing whatsoever to do with INCOME TAX.
