    @Dochico; one of my brothers has been driving a Tesla around regional Victoria / Sthn NSW for about five years now - notching up about 130,000 kms trouble-free already.

    The only real issue he's experienced has been with its pretence to be able to replace a human at the wheel - it occasionally sees 'ghosts' and firmly activates the brakes on freeways / highways even in the absence of traffic. It's been returned to Melbourne for servicing and to fix the fault but without success., albeit it's no longer as 'trigger happy' as it used to be.

    Back in 2014 my Honda Accord was also very aggressively 'trigger happy' until the auto-braking system was virtually de-activated in a recall. It's never activated the brakes since then and responses from Honda Mgt have proven very disappointing.

    Such systems don't define EV's and only someone like Musk could create unwise confidence in automated systems.
