Probably not. EVs need a MMB to kill ICEs. Any durability beyond that is unnecessary and therefore not cost effective. The NVX anode blows the MMB out of the water. As Elon says si/gph does the job. So it makes no sense unless you want to reduce battery mass and vehicle weight and that has an optimal point as well. You don’t want the vehicle to take off. Mark Webber had this happen in a Mercedes in a race in Germany, it’s not just hypothetical. Lastly the nano wire is very expensive and will thus be a niche market, cost being the other critical factor needed to kill the ICE.
