Elon Musk can be a vexation to the spirit. This was posted by Hotspring on the Allchem (AKE) forum this morning. I thought it had merit here:
"The fox like Musk is at it again, trying to fool the market again (obviously for his short/long term benefits) with the same old trick as he did with his bold statement that about extracting large scale lithium by mixing table salt somewhere in Nevada, a couple years back.
Good to know the progress of his venture to date, the answer is obviously ZILCH, but he did manage to smash the price of the lithium for very short time after that hoo haa,

Musk will do what is good for TESLA, don't expect any endeavour from him to help lithium miners or anyone.
