    The entrance of TESLA into the Australian auto industry has created debate on the method of sales used to market their cars. This is a massive paradigm shift in marketing this type of product. The car was developed from scratch to be the best of it's type in quality as well as in safety & technological advancement. This vertical integration will be followed throughout the sales process, the customer is informed all the way along the line of their position. The most unique feature of the TESLA experience is that they can be sold through stores in shopping centres just like APPLE . There is no smell or sound generated so the cars become like any other consumer product. There will be service centres within capital cities but these will not be to busy as the make up of the cars is such that there is limited requirement for service or parts. IMO this is the beginning of a new wave of products sold this way, it has not taken long for public opinion to become accepting of this marketing approach.
