I reckon it's a miss when you compare it to the previous Tesla models. Purely on looks. Also , his previous releases had no competition. It's going to be a bit different by the time this one gets to market.
I reckon he might sell quite a few for commercial use. As a big rugged work truck they're probably a good thing. That said, when you compare it to a Rivian, the Tesla pickup better have something special up it's sleeve.
I expect Ford's new electric F150 will still have the advantage. F150's aren't big sellers for no reason.
It does sound like he's laid down the gauntlet on price which is a big step forward.
Dunno about the towing cap though ? Sure it will be able to move heavy stuff but towing eats battery capacity. Unless he has a new type of battery in there ?
