Also check with your supplier that it doesn't impact on your current solar contract/ tarrif arrangement
If I were to put a battery on my current array it would result in my (52c) contract being void, conveniently left out by a number of installers who I asked to quote. Two told me this & said they would be doing me a disservice by recommending installation of a battery pack.
FWIW I haven't paid a power bill for 6 or 7 years (until this winter) & usually get an annual $1,000 credit +/-.
Whilst production has remained relatively constant, the tarrifs have increased by such a percentage that they are eroding the previous positive dollar gap made from production.
