If the Graphene technology keeps progressing ... then it may only be a matter of grams, if any graphite at all.

Ironically all the hype from the graphite space regarding the benefits of graphene may end up backfiring on the potential future demand side of the graphite equation as it becomes the reality for future energy storage and not graphite IMO

Over the years the graphene tech has and will continue to improve making less and less use of graphite not to mention it can be derived from other carbon substrates apart from graphite possibly making the much touted battery future graphite-less

for me , it is comforting to see via the last two anns, TON so far, not directly aligning itself to the battery space and IMO that could prove to be one of the wises moves of all
