Hi KL, could your forecasts be just a tad optimistic? Two billion units means roughly one unit for every house on the planet! And that means we are equating Macmansions in Pasadena, Paris and Perth to mud huts in Burundi, Botswana and Bangla Desh, and expecting them all to pay US$3500.
Don't get me wrong. What Elon Musk is doing is brilliant, and will benefit the world. But it won't affect per capita GDPs in any but the tiny handful of countries where the relevant plants are located.
