Lots of spin here. Lots of things they don't say......

We live off grid...... make all of our power. Have done since 1990.
At 50% depth of discharge (recommended for lithium), 10kw unit = 5kw. Their example of appliance use = in excess of 6 kw. maybe they work the new ones harder?
Most modern households would use 20kw or more.
They fail to state that days of reserve are needed if off grid, usually 5. So 5 of their 10kw units = $17500
They also don't mention that lithium based cells require each cell to be individually charged and monitored = expensive control gear=complicated=unreliability
I have yet to speak to anyone who has achieved the stated lifecycle of lithium based batteries.
Think cordless drills etc. 1000cycles.... in your dreams.
Our current lead acid gel cells are 40kw for $11000. Our last cells @ 5kw lasted 10 years.. $600

Hope this new tech is at least 50% better than current tech lithium. I have seen no claims as far as this goes so far. Im not sure that anyone who could afford a tesla car would admit to running costs? Would love some feedback.
