I really wonder if the price is right or the marketing strategy (as much as is known, ie "battery is a high-tech premium solution so why not market it that way").

Adopting this stance will limit customers.
People would be interested in what they perceive that they can afford for the kWatts being offered by the salesman.

So price will be a big determinant - whether they have picked the "right one" or not the average person will not really know and unless it is a dud, people will stand by their decision. Just view how and with whom people buy their daily needs – nearly always on price.
