If you do some research, you'll find out that Tesla is, mostly just putting together things that have already been invented.
There is nothing wrong with that.
And yes, Elon gave away some patents, and he is genuinly trying to change the world.
However, Tesla never had many inventions to give away, to begin with.
Because Tesla is a late comer to renewable energy/ EV tech industry, by comparison.
Dwarfed by other players like Samsung, GE, etc when it comes to numbers of renewable/EV techs and inventions.
Facts are one thing, popular belief another.
