Just to further clarify my point on government support, this was aimed specifically at a consumer level - The solar industry has STP's and LGC's and these are in the process of being reduced, subsequently increasing the cost to the consumer - Instead of removing incentives, the government need to be looking at ways to get more people into renewable energy.

The car industry also needs incentives to get people out of their current vehicles and into EV's as soon as the market has multiple vehicles on offer.

A little off topic now on PLS so I'll leave this discussion from here, but I certainly agree that we don't need the government getting involved in the mining of lithium particularly if it's putting roadblocks (or costs) in the way.
