Once the EV world really starts - say 5 to 10 years time - the fossil fuel industry will enter a never ending downward spiral until it is virtually non-existent, except as a curiosity. The infrastructure for EV's will spring up very quickly because it will provide a profit for those operating it. Long distance haulage will simply have to join it to compete. The cost of EV trucks will be reduced compared with today's prices because they are fundamentally simpler .

There may be people here that either cannot or will not understand this, but there would have been such people when electricity came on the scene saying "it will never replace gas street lighting" etc etc.
