I have an acquaintance who was a Chrysler dealer here in Oz. He said he never made any money from his service division. I believe that has changed as I really count my pennies before I have our Mercedes Benz serviced. Is it that the margin on new cars has declined and service fees are now highly profitable? So much so that your fiend has a sub-conscious fear of his business going down.
