Spot in mate, as much as I love Elons stuff his semi won't be a hit in OZ. Sure you could make it work for some operations but in general no.
As for the economics run the numbers properly with 35T payload and 25c pkw for electricity. Lots of Musks claims about convential semis arnt true. A 600hp truck with one trailer will pull up most hills @100 kph. 700 HP even better.
I think the E PM is a goer in Europe and the USA but very limited usage in OZ.
