The mind boggles with the advancements we humans have made in a very short time. I recently watch a Tony Seba interview where he said that 17 years ago the worlds most powerful computer cost $50,000,000 and today the same processing power cost $50. We have gone from $50,000,000 to $50 in 17 years. That's the speed of advancement.
I can imagine 17 years from now todays batteries would look primative to what will be available then both in size, weight, costs, charging times etc.
My only hope is lithium will still be a vital part of it.
