It's just backward thinking to say this is promoting child labour. The reason there is child labour is because the family is so poor.

Just imagine if these mining companies can provide a good income for the family so that the children can go to school (also assisted by mining funds) and get an education.

Of course there would be monitoring to make sure no child labour product was used.
