Speaking to some golf diesel owners - some of the main reasons they bought their car was
1) Fuel economy = less $$$ to run.
2) Lower emissions than the petrol version.
3) Power and acceleration are not compromised & reliability

This feedback seems to marry up with the type of advertising quoting buyers feedback that has been put forward by motoring journalists.

I think these same journalists will be used by Tesla and other Battery and Hybrid Car manufacturers to capitalize on this massive 'faux pas' by VW.

EV may be more inEVitable than EVer now, and sooner than we thought.
