Tesla will use QPM nickel / cobalt

As we know, LG Chem has signed an off-take with QPM (formerly PM1) for $200M+ of Nickel and Cobalt.

LG is working on a new nickel-rich NCMA battery cell, with increased energy density of the cells, which will be supplied to Tesla according to industry sources. This explains their current huge demand for Nickel.
