    The rapid growth and $/kwh reduction in battery tech will certainly shorten the gas powered fuel cell bridge between coal and 100% renewables but there is still shit loads of gas around at a cheap price that should keep it in the game well into the new renewables world especially in cloud ridden europe is my guess.
