Tesla is doing well. No doubt. A solid investment.
What I look at is the % increase. For example NIO, but also LI AUTO (LI), XPENG (XPEV) move so much faster these days. XPEV at the moment 7% and LI 10% up. The Chinese market is huge. 5 years ago my agents in China worked for us like crazy. Now the mainland China orders come first and export is second. The market in China is ready to buy cars and Like Whatsapp (wechat) and Amazon (Alibaba) there might be a moment when Tesla will be banned in China or receive significant import taxes. I would never thought i'd say it but to me a Chinese car is a more safe bet than tesla. Especially if we look at ROI. Eventually all Electric Car Brands will go sky high in valuation and in 4-5 years we'll start to see which are the winners or losers. Till then I ride the wave.
