- Apparently it cost < A$2 to drive from Vibe hotel at the Darwin Waterfront to Grant’s gate. The $2 was for the parking fee at charging station.
- Until such time SB or Blair can demonstrate some simple usage of EVs to further the mission of CXO then this project really is a pie in the sk
I am reliably informed that Charlotte River would gladly drive to Darwin River Tavern to pick up Blair’s Four X and SB’s champagne in a humble Model 3 if the CXO token CyberTruck was not available.
However given the tantalising prospect of diesel fuel subsidies for CXO management it is highly likely that you investors will see:
No senior management ever driving an EV from Darwin to the site
Charlotte picking up the beer for the boss’s using a Toyota Landcruiser
If they don’t walk the EV talk that this proposal uses to underpin its shallow social licence, then this project is probably not all it seems.
This proposal looks like more of a short term stock market play than a serious commitment to furthering the decarbonising of global civilisation.
If it wasn’t a stock market play Blair and SB would be making sure that there were mine spec Tesla’s with CXO livery all over the Darwin rural area and Cox Peninsula.
They know they can rent/hire/lease these vehicle right now, in Darwin. They just choose not to do that for reasons unknown.
And if it is just a stock market play then guess who is getting played? It’s not me that’s for sure.
