I do agree with your points, but it seems that you have missed my main point in relation to BLY.

As at this stage the major driving force for the stock is general market sentiment which is negative (unfortunately) due to relatively large drops of DJ. Taking into an account the current chart of BLY I think with the current situation it should follow in the same direction as the whole market what is unfortunately (again in the south direction.

Some stocks such for example OEL are moving in an opposite direction, because as you mentioned there are technicals which are supported by strong fundamentals.
