Tungsten price is quoted in MTU (Metric Tonne Units). 1 MTU is 10kg, so multiply the MTU number by 100 to get the true cost/tonne.
You must also realise that the amount in the ground needs to be processed, and you will never recover all of it. A number along the lines of 60% - 80% recovery would be normal, depending on how complex the metallurgy is and the process used.
