I am at Roma and just attended the community Cabinet Meeting! There was about 40-50 vocal Farmers protesting outside meeting and one almost got chucked out in the meeting.. Overall Anna Bligh handled the meeting well but gave no ground to CXY.. She did not report recent positive tests but said CXY is closed down and that the Government feels "UGC is a new untested industry" and they will not approve any more companies in this industry and that a moritorium exists on future production..Obviously trying to appease hostile farmers. She did however point out the difference between CSG and UGC. Most Farmers were on about CSG.
