on first glance, it seems like its... bad news for Bennett Resources.

Seems to say that its not going to go ahead at this stage.
As for the why.... could be the continued 'ban' (in all but name) on fracking.
It could also be a tactic by Bennett, to try and force the governments hand regarding the 'ban'? They did agree to the termination.
Probably just have to wait and see whether we see Bennett relodge a new application, or.... exit the Canning.
Would be a great shame, as I would love to see just what the Laurel play can do.
I will continue to watch what the new Finder Company, does in the South with their uncon gas play.
