They SHOULD provide more detailed information - especially if a jv partner are supplying it to their shareholders :(
Eventually we find it - but gets a bit tiresome to have to google the internet to find out what is out there. OK - Nido are not responsible for what a jv partner discloses or what a newspaper prints and don't have to react/announce based on that. However, the quarterly released yesterday was an ideal time to level the playing field and provide this detailed information that Philodrill provide to their shareholders.
What else is known by others that is not market sensitive because it is out there already - and we just haven't found it? A perfect example was Vitol's early interest in Galoc - Philodrill published this - those that saw it had an advantage in my opinion. I guess that they might not want to say anything until a deal is 100% done - you know under promise/over deliver rather than the other way as happens a lot in other companies?
