Hi Spawk, thanks for helping with the explanation... i work 12 midnight to 12 lunch time Angola time....so I'm working now and sometimes find it hard to reply during my shift.
To everyone who's expressed support for what I'm trying to do...I thank you, your comments are much sppreciated...especially those that have made a special effort to comment for the first time....
As to why they would go back and drill off....
I explained it to my step-daughter like this..... Imagine a sausage is buried in the ground and that's the reservoir full of oil we are looking for.... now take a wooden skewer and poke it into the ground and hit the sausage.... lol.... very simplistic I know... even if you hit it you will only have a cross section of 20 mm to look at, and that's if you hit it dead centre....
So imagine all that 3500 Mtrs under the seafloor. ...
