xtex, I don't think there will be that sort of disconnect.. it would take a major slowdown in china to ensure that probably.. but if inflation in aussie was worse than in usa AND the aussie fed kept raising rates while the usa fed was lowering rates, then its possible for the disconnect scenario you describe to come about I guess...
