I have found it funny over the last 6 months how those with a bullish position will claim the contrarian high ground (buy the dips) while those with a bearish position will do the same. I would have to say that the bears have been the true contrarians since mid last year though the last couple of weeks on the ASX are seeing more posters starting to seriously consider the bearish case. On balance I still believe the bears are still very much the minority on this site, the bullish mindset of a decoupling of the ASX from the US continues to be the major theme on hotcopper and within the australian financial media.
