Small shareholders will give up their shares to the highest bidder in every case. Its the major shareholders which are stubborn. Im not sure if that was the case with your example though.
JK secured one of NQM major shareholder before the deal was announced and knew HSK would give in as they needed the cash.
Im sure he has done the same with CQT's major shareholders this time around.
