I wouldn't be surprised if the UK are playing both sides of the trade. They read the chat sites and set the buy's and sell's accordingly. A rapid sell down is intended to scare any competition to pull their buys leaving UK buys at the top of the bid. Then they load the sell side just above their bids. This can all come undone though, if they start losing to much stock in the process. By stepping up and taking their props, they need to step up to get the stock back...then push the SP up in the UK to make a margin.
