This is what it is all about.

The Chinese can now build nuclear plants (like everything else) for half the price of the rest of the world. This will result in nuclear being competitive in not only China, but the rest of the world.

With the exception of a few Greenpeace types that masquerade as "independent consultants" writing guest pieces for media outlets, it is fairly widely expected that Chinese will export BOT nuclear plants around the world, eventually. Nuclear has previously been stifled by one-off costs, engineering and procurement costs spread across one or two or five projects, however anyone who has studied the breadth and extent of the what the Chinese are doing at the moment will realise, the Chinese are doing to nuclear what they did to solar 5 - 10 years ago, industrialised it!
