Testing ZipT, page-8

OK, I just tried the 'dummy' app that was downloaded in my iphone previously, this time I add the country code as I didn't do previously that's why it didn't work. I range a couple of mobile numbers in my home and the sound is crystal clear but a slight delay in the voice as expected from a VOIP. I rang 3 mobile numbers in Cambodia but non worked. I rang my Uncle in Hong Kong, it got through, the quality is ok but not as crystal clear as the Aust numbers. My $1.00 credit went down to $0.95 after the 3 conversation of not more than 30 secs each. I would assume this 'dummy' app is the pilot version and therefore is not the final product. On the sign up screen of the app it did say 3G and Wifi, no mention of 2G so maybe that is why it didn't work on the Cambodian number? I also tried the 1800 3107826600 number that Ivan tried and got through just fine. The quality is quite clear, I can hear the Indian lady voice speaking clearly but didn't dare to answer so I just hung up. I have no idea how the app works from app to app as I only have one installed.
I also messaged my wife's phone using the app. it got through instantly!

I think the company needs to come clean about exactly what they are doing as I find it confusing why it is not mentioning 2G in its pilot version and why the app appeared abruptly in the app store and then got taken off. And now they are only trialing Android users but it is clearly working on IOS etc etc.
