testing

Interested in comments around the testing process around the SD well. We are 6 days into a 3 week test. Given the 4 stage process that has been planned it seems we are preparing for all contingencies which is great planning IMO. They have obviously researched surrounding wells and are preparing for the different scenarios i.e

1.flows naturally (hope it does, dream result) - might here something about this in the next few days.

2.needs nitrogen for artifical lift (thats Ok, other wells needed this, but does imply low pressure) - probably week 2?

    3. Acid cleanup to remove damage then flow test again (they've stated most wells in the area need acid cleanup of the rocks to preserve reservoir - sounds like a apecialised job) - week 3?

    4. Artificial lift using nitrogen again after acid cleanup (seems kinda like the last chance to get the oil to the surface) - again week 3?

I assume there's a 5th stage i.e use an actual pump rather than artificial to bring the oil to surface - but I hope we don't have to go down this road.

question for any experts - does the size of the test rig and/or casing restrict the potenial flow rates? i.e I assume flow is a function of pipe size and pressure (if they can get it to flow) so all the hype around daily flow rates might be just a function of the gear we've got rather than the size of the field?

I'm thinking they would drill a bigger production well if/when this proves up the reserve, to get the big dailt production rates we all want.

Exciting time for this little company. Its absolutley company making time!!!
